5 Things To Overcome Your Depression And Anxiety

Keep a journal or a private, personal diary.

We learn from society that showing any evidence of vulnerability denotes weakness. But I beg to differ. Vulnerability expression is a symbol of strength. If your life isn't making you happy, you must be acting improperly.

Wrong. Nobody ever wakes up every day feeling like the sun is shining on them. I use writing as a form of daily treatment. It is difficult to be vulnerable and express your emotions. People are notoriously harsh judges.

Take 15 minutes out of your day to jot down your goals if you want to improve your mental health. Write in any style, whether it's a few words or a stream of mind.

When you're feeling happy, anxious, or depressed, write. List five positive traits about yourself, five areas where you desire to improve, and the steps you will take to bring about change in your life.

Realize that you are never alone.

Every person, whether they are aware of it or not, is going through something. We all struggle with insecurities and issues. Be mindful that you are never alone. At least ten of your difficulties are likely made-up situations that you concocted illogically.

Learn to manage your thoughts so that they do not run your life. Life is hard. Your soul will suffer if you have self-doubt. But if you can't figure out how to have fun even when things are difficult, you never will. You will always have problems because, I make this vow to you.

Never question your personal identity. More than you could have ever imagined is possible for you. Keep in mind that you weren't given anything in this life that you couldn't manage.

Go outside into sunshine.

Did you know that exposure to sunlight causes the release of endorphins and serotonin, which make you happier? As a result of creating vitamin D and absorbing calcium, it keeps your bones strong.

You're presently travelling to a beach in Mexico because it's good for your mental and physical wellbeing. Of course I'm kidding; not everyone can afford that. You occasionally need to get some fresh air, breathe, and remind yourself that you can overcome anything.

Exhale doubt and inhale assurance. During your lunch break, take a stroll. Take a solo run or set out on a stroll with some companions. Engage in club sports. If you reside in an area with minimal sunlight, you can always get a light treatment box.

Stream podcasts.

When I'm depressed, dissatisfied, or anxious, I watch Ted Talks or listen to podcasts. When I can't handle my own challenges, I especially enjoy learning from others.

Never stop learning since life will always have something new to teach you. By taking advice from others' experiences, you can get past your issues, anxieties, and feelings.

View these top 11 Ted Talks on depression. They all talk about how important mental health is. The final book on the list, Overcoming Hopelessness by Nick Vujicic, genuinely altered my life.

Take good care of yourself.

Your body produces endorphins during exercise that cause you to feel happy. Exercise can be used as treatment. It's a celebration of your physical self.

Exercises that are continuous and rhythmic, such as weightlifting, swimming, or Zumba, can aid with depression. Eat as though you love your body and yourself. Put an end to caring about what other people think of you.

The majority of people don't notice the minor flaws you have in yourself. You will never be able to love your body completely, so start doing so right away. Your focus will be ruined by a bad attitude.
